Travelers News & Notes (Updated 6/27/2008) This page will be your source of the most up-to-date information on the Americus Travelers Baseball Club. It's official - there will no Americus Travelers team for 2008; thus, the program has pretty much folded. There are plans to field a 16 and under team in Americus; however, this group will not be affiliated with the Americus Travelers. "I'd like to take a few seconds if I may to address the question of the future of this website. The domain and hosting were renewed for the year 2008; as such, I will be keeping the website up for the remainder of this year. As there is no more Travelers ball, I'll be discontinuing the website in March 2009. I want to express my deepest thanks and appreciation to all who have visited our online clubhouse. There is no telling how many people have visited since July 1998, and I sure hope you have enjoyed it as much as I've enjoyed developing and maintaining the website. Your comments and feedback mean a lot. Please continue to send email if you like to americustravelers@yahoo.com , even if it's just to say hello. I'm deeply grateful to any and all of the Americus Travelers through the years. You and your families and all the many coaches have been a family to me, and I"m going to miss it greatly.
