Saturday, September 6 - Raiders Baseball

The Travelers defeated Raiders Baseball, 3-2, in LaGrange; the game saw the lead change five times. Americus had a strong fifth frame - a run-batted-in hit by Jarrod Wall plated Reid Ragsdale. Wall went 3-for-3 in the game.

Pitching: Chance Hollomon went three and 2/3 innings on the mound; he allowed one hit, no earned, a walk and sent one back to the dugout.


Saturday, September 6 - Fairplay Patriots

The Americus Travelers won against the Fairplay Patriots, 6-1, in LaGrange. Chandler Davis went 3-for-3 in the contest, tripling in the fifth frame and hits in both the initial at-batter and seventh frame. Americus took an early 1-0 in their first; Davis' hit plated Will Lanneau to start their scoring. Later, the Travelers would plate two on a grounder by Jarrod Wall. Two more scored in the seventh; Reid Ragsdale's hit brought Lanneau to home plate.

Pitching: Davis pitched a pair of innings; he allowed no hits, no earned, one walk and sent four back to the dugout.


Sunday, September 7 - Bremen Demons

The Travelers lost to the Bremen Demons, 6-5, in LaGrange; the game went ten innings total. Among Americus scoring was one on a run-batted-in hit by Chandler Davis.

Pitching: Tyler Pruett went 3 1/3 innings on the mound; he allowed no earned on two hits.


NOTE:  Even with the loss to the Bremen Demons, the Travelers were declared the winner of the tournament. The remainder of the bracket play was rained out; they reverted back to pool play and Americus was the #1 seed in pool play.

Sunday, September 14 - Game On Bulls 15U

Americus was defeated by the Game On Bulls 15U, 3-2, in Macon. In the initial at-batter, the Travelers took an early 1-0 lead. Myles Napier's hit started the offense; a stolen base would move Napier from first to second. Reid Ragsdale went 1-for-1 with a hit in the first frame.

Sunday, September 14 - Game On Bulls 16U

The Travelers won against the Game On Bulls 16U, 6-1, in Macon. Jarrod Wall went 3-for-3 in the contest with hits in innings two, four and six. Americus got the scoring going in their second as two reached home via an error and a fielder's choice. A pair more would score in the fourth; a hit by Will Lanneau plated Tyler Pruett. One more score came in the fifth and one in the sixth; in inning five, the score came via error that brought Cameron Belcher to home.

Pitching: Pruett held the Bulls hitless over a pair of innings; he allowed no earned, a walk and sent a pair back to the dugout.


Saturday, October 11 - Winter Park Diamond Dawgs

The Travelers lost to the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs, 10-2, in St. Augustine. Will Lanneau went 1-for-3 in the contest and scored twice; he had a hit in the initial at-batter. Reid Ragsdale's score-batted-in hit plated Americus' first run in the initial frame. Americus would score again in their fifth.

Pitching: Chance Hollomon went three innings; he walked one, sent one back to the dugout and allowed three.


Saturday, October 11 - Jackson Warriors Orange

Americus defeated the Jackson Warriors orange, 7-3, in St. Augustine in a game that saw the lead change five times. The Orange and Navy snagged the lead after their fifth and went up from there on a run-batted-in hit by Jarrod Wall that plated Myles Napier. Chandler Davis posted a pair of extra-base hits, doubling in the third and fifth frames.

Pitching: Cameron Belcher went three innings, allowing one score, one walk, three hits and sent four back to the dugout.


Sunday, October 12 - QBA Hurricanes

The Travelers lost to the QBA Hurricanes, 8-3, in St. Augustine. Chandler Davis reached base twice in this contest, singling in the fourth frame. Americus scored three in their sixth; the rally was sparked by Will Lanneau's sac fly and a deuce-scoring hit by Jarrod Wall.

Pitching: Gavin Paul went three innings; he walked a pair, allowed two runs and sent three back to the dugout.


Sunday, October 12 - Winter Park Diamond Dawgs

Americus lost to the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs, 11-4, in St. Augustine. Reid Ragsdale would go 2-for-3 in the game. The Orange and Navy scored one in their second, then three in the third. Jarrod Wall contributed a run-batted-in double, Ragsdale had a score-batted-in hit, and Cameron Belcher's hit brought in a run.

Saturday, October 25 - Team 360

The Travelers defeated Team 360, 8-0, in five innings. The Orange and Navy put one on the board in their initial at-batter via run-batted-in hit from Jarrod Wall. Wall's hit in the third plated Cameron Belcher, and the Travelers would plate three in that inning. Americus plated four in their fourth via score-batted-in hits by Gavin Paul and Myles Napier, a sac fly from Tommy Butler and a wild pitch; Napier went 3-for-3 in the contest.

Pitching: Butler went two innings; he allowed a pair of hits, no earned, no walks and sent two back to the dugout.


Saturday, October 25 - Eastside Hitmen

Americus defeated the Eastside Hitmen, 11-10, in five innings. The contest went back and forth going into the fifth; the lead changed five times. In their first, Tyler Pruett's hit brought home Will Lanneau and Chandler Davis, then Jarrod Wall reached home via a run-batted-in hit by Gavin Paul. In Americus' third, Pruett had a deuce-scoring triple that plated Davis and Wall. In their fifth, the Travelers took the lead for good on a deuce-scoring double by Reid Ragsdale that plated Davis and Lanneau. Pruett had four runs-batted-in on a pair of hits, singling in the initial at-batter and tripling in the third frame.

Pitching: Cameron Belcher went three and 2/3 innings; he allowed one run, sent one back, walked one and gave up five hits.


Saturday, October 25 - Georgia Hitmen

Americus lost to the Georgia Hitmen, 6-2, in five innings. Gavin Paul had two runs-batted-in on a pair of hits, doubling in the second inning and a hit in the fourth. The Travelers scored a single run in their second; Paul's double helped start the rally. Americus would score their other run in the fourth.

Sunday, October 26 - West Cobb Express

The Travelers defeated the West Cobb Express, 13-4. Americus plated ten in their initial three frames. Among highlights: deuce-scoring double by Tyler Pruett; two-run double by Gavin Paul; score-batted-in hit by Camron Vanlerberghe; run-batted-in triple by Reid Ragsdale and a sac fly by Pruett. Pruett would end up with three scores-batted-in on a pair of hits. Six Travelers combined for 11 hits, 11 runs-batted-in, 10 scored.

Pitching: Will Lanneau worked four innings; he allowed three runs, sent two back to the dugout, walked one and gave up three hits.


Sunday, October 26 - Orange Crush

Americus lost to the Orange Crush, 10-9, in six innings. The Travelers had eleven hits total in the contest. The Travelers would plate two in their fourth via a run-batted-in hit by Tommy Butler and an error. They then scored two in the fifth by way of a fielder's choice and a run-batted-in hit by Gavin Paul.
